Average US movie ticket prices grew from about 6.40 dollars in 2005 to over 11 by 2023 as theatre operators raised prices. Two completely unrelated growth stories sharing a window because the same nineteen years rewarded both a global manufacturing-automation buildout and an American cinema-pricing trend.
