India's IT services exports doubled from about 100 to over 200 billion dollars between 2015 and 2024, riding global enterprise cloud migration and the post-pandemic remote-work normalisation. The top Spotify artist's annual streams roughly quintupled in the same window as the platform's user base passed 600 million, with the leader board now routinely posting numbers a 2015 listener would have called arithmetically impossible. Both are stories about scale: a global platform unlocking a previously fragmented market and the resulting numbers feeling unreal. Cloud services and audio streams, scaling in step.

When a global pipe widens, everything downstream gets bigger together. The platform decade was generous to both.
