Thirteen years of Amazon and standing desks is a correlation between a company and a product it sells: Amazon's growth tracks standing desk adoption because Amazon is both a participant in and a distributor of the standing desk economy. The desk is purchased on Amazon, used at Amazon, and counted in Amazon's revenue. The correlation is a supply chain in disguise.
