The share of US adults using a standing desk grew from a small minority in 2010 to a meaningful workplace category by 2021 as the sit-is-the-new-smoking discourse and the IKEA Bekant lowered the cost of entry. Certified organic farmland grew steadily as the National Organic Program matured and consumer demand expanded incentives for transition. Both are wellness-economy stories: a workplace ergonomic preference and an agricultural certification system, sharing a decade because the same generation that demanded better-labelled food also demanded better-labelled chairs. Different gospels of better living, same era.

Wellness arrives in unrelated rooms simultaneously. The decade liked a label.
